Moveuskadi is now available for iPhone.
The iphone version of the Moveuskadi application can now be downloaded from the AppStore and from the www.moveuskadi.com website.
This application, which is also available for Android, provides users with a public transport GPS navigator. Apart from planning how to travel between two destinations in public transport, Moveuskadi will let you know when you have missed a bus and will search for new alternatives from your position at the time. It will also tell you when you are getting close to the stop where you have to get off, and tell you when you reach your destination. The application is therefore always taking into account the decisions of the user to provide you with the best alternative at any time. It is an innovative tools that users can download totally free of charge.
And that is not all. Moveuskadi continues growing with new services. The Tourism Directorate of the Basque Government has facilitated the geolocalisation and information on destinations of interest in the Basque Country which can be reached by public transport. From then onwards, you not only be able to travel more quickly and efficiently, but you will also always know which interesting places are nearby and you be able to organise get-aways and visits using your mobile phone.
At Moveuskadi, you can find information on timetables, stops, length and cost of the journey, by any means of transport, separately or when using more than one, covering the underground, tramways, bus and coaches, long distance and suburban trains, boats, ferries, funicular railways, the transporter bridge and even lifts.
This initiative is part of the set of actions that the Basque Government is implementing to achieve more sustainable mobility. It thus places the Basque Country at a cutting-edge position in the development of Smart Transport Systems, STS, thus spotlighting the innovative and entrepreneurial character of the Basque Country in the world. Moveuskadi is a tool for mobility, sustainability, facility and the future.
